Kazimierz (Jewish Quarter) was not very popular among Cracovians. Nowadays, restoration work is underway throughout the whole quarter. New bars and restaurans are opening. Nightlife is makes this district of Krakow a place to be. For Sunday morning breakfast or afternoon coffe. Still many buildings are deserted. Only one of the seven synagogues is still being used. The largest old synagogue now hosts the Museum of History of the City of Krakow. The Jewish Cemetery is the only one in Gothic style left in Europe.
