Best to get to Zakopane is by bus from the main train station, 10 min. walk from the Main Market Sq. and 5 min. from the Old Town. Two private companies FREJ and SZWAGROPOL go roughly every 30-40 minutes (journey time aprox. 2h15min., tickets from the driver, 9-10 PLN). Some people prefer to travel by train but it takes much longer. By car it takes roughly 2 hours (100km).
